한국어교육을 위한 간접인용구문의 ‘(고) 하-’ 생략 현상 고찰

이 글의 목적은 한국어교육에서 간접인용구문의 ‘(고) 하-’ 생 략 현상의 기술 방안을 논의하는 것이다. 이를 위해 이 글에서는 ‘(고) 하’ 생략의 제약을 논의하고, 한국어 교재의 ‘(고) 하-’ 생략 관련 기술 내용을 검토한 후, ‘(고) 하-’ 생략 현상의 기술 방안을 제안해 보았다. 간접인용구문의 인용동사 ‘하-’에 일부 종결어미, 연결어미 및 보조용언 이 결합하는 환경에서 ‘(고) 하-’ 생략은 제약된다. 이 글에서 분석한 한 국어 교재에는 ‘(고) 하-’ 생략에 대한 정보가 기술에 충분히 반영되어 있지는 않았다. 한국어 학습자의 의사소통 능력 향상을 위해 ‘(고) 하-’ 생략 현상을 하나의 문법 항목으로 설정하고 그 문법적 특성이 한국어교 육의 문법 기술에 반영될 필요가 있다.
Abstract
This study aims to discuss strategies for describing the ellipsis of (go) ha- in indirect quotation constructions in Korean language education. To this end, this study first examines the constraints on the ellipsis of (go) ha-, then reviews how this phenomenon is addressed in Korean language textbooks, and finally proposes descriptive strategies for its inclusion in Korean language education. The ellipsis of (go) ha- is restricted in environments where the quotation verb ha- combines with certain sentence-final endings, connective endings, or auxiliary verbs. However, the Korean language textbooks analyzed in this study did not sufficiently reflect information on the ellipsis of (go) ha-. For the enhancement of learners’ communicative competence, it is necessary to establish the ellipsis of (go) ha- as an independent grammatical item and to incorporate its grammatical characteristics into the grammatical description of Korean language education.
