Abstract
This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of a 15-session balance-integrated exercise program in enhancing elementary school students’ physical fitness and psychological well-being. The program was developed through expert consultation and validated using the Delphi method. A total of 30 elementary school students from a youth center in D Metropolitan City participated in the program, and its effectiveness was evaluated through pre- and post-assessments of basic physical fitness and psychological factors. The results indicated that the program had positive effects on health-related fitness components, including increased muscle mass, improved flexibility, and enhanced muscular strength. Furthermore, performance-related components such as balance, agility, and power also showed statistically significant improvements. In terms of psychological outcomes, the program was found to be effective in enhancing students’ perceptions of physical competence and self-esteem. These findings suggest that the balance-integrated exercise program can serve as a practical and effective intervention for promoting not only physical development but also emotional stability and social growth in elementary school students. Future efforts should focus on developing customized programs tailored to students’ developmental levels and establishing strategies for broader dissemination and implementation.
