본고는 북한의 다양한 비대칭 위협들, 즉, 핵실험을 비롯한 미사일 시험 발사,사이버 공격, 포격 도발, 함정 폭침 등등에 대해 현상적인 대처뿐만 아니라 이를보다 본질적으로 대처하기 위한 필요성의 제기하였고, 이를 위해 북한 비대칭위협들의 저변에 있는 남북 간의 강약점에 근거한 북한의 비대칭 전략에 대해그 목표 및 방법과 수단을 추정함으로써 보다 구조적인 대응 방법을 시도하였다. 이를 통해 북한 비대칭 위협에 대한 심층적인 대처 방법으로서 북한의 비대칭적위협들의 수단과 방법에 관한 형태별 대처 개념의 발전과 남북 간 안보적 비대칭상태 조정 개념의 발전을 제시하였다.
Abstract
Emerging North Korea’s asymmetric military threats are vary widely like as theweapons of mass destruction including nuclear weapons experiment, the missile test,the forward deployment of long range artillery, the cyberspace attack, and so on. Since the response of so many kinds is difficult, we have to cope with this throughsystematic and efficient approach. This paper is intend to analyze the Korea asymmetric military strategy by checking various aspects of North Korea’s asymmetric militarythreats. To do this, we assumed that North Korea’s military strategy is the asymmetricleverage the strengths and weaknesses of the two Koreas and we investigatedthe goals and means of North Korea’s asymmetric strategies. Based on this approach,we suggested the strategic response concepts as three types of preparedness against the ways and means of North Korea asymmetric threat. We also proposed the concepts to complement our vulnerability, and how to maximize our strengths.
