Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop an assessment rubric that can be applied to classes on arti ficial intelligence-based music creation projects and to verify its validity through expert Delphi surveys. Artificial intelligence-based music creation classes have recently spread, but there is still a lack of structured evaluation tools in the actual school field that can diagnose learners' growth by re flecting the creative process and the characteristics of human-artificial intelligence collaboration. Therefore, this study sets the creative process in which learners interact with artificial intelligence, think, judge, correct, and reflect, and proposes a process-oriented and competency-oriented assess ment rubric. This rubric is designed as an evaluation framework that crosses the four vertical stages of 'planning, creation and modification, sharing and presentation, reflection' and the horizontal three areas of 'knowledge, understanding', 'process and function', and 'value and attitude' based on the in tegrated evaluation principle for overall growth. After that, the second Delphi survey was conducted on eight experts to review the evaluation elements and operational definitions, and the content val idity and agreement of the three-level (A-B-C) rubric for each element, and as a result, a total of 41 evaluation elements, operational definitions, and level-specific rubric were confirmed. This study has theoretical and methodological significance in that it has been redefined and systematized as a proc ess-oriented evaluation that supports learners' thinking and growth from the evaluation rule output in music education in the era of generative artificial intelligence. In addition, this rubric is an evalua tion tool that can be flexibly used in the actual classroom context and can contribute to expanding the practical possibility of process-oriented evaluation while supporting teachers' professional judgment.
