Abstract

The purpose of this study was to confirm the appropriate frequency of transformed self-controlled feedback in children who had low level of physical self-efficacy using Taekwondo side kick. Of the 180 children, 40 children were selected through the physical self-efficacy questionnaire. Forty participants were assigned to each group. The experimental design was done under the factorial design of 4 (10%, 30%, 50%, 70% group) × 4 (division: 1-4). Data collection was averaged through acquisition and retention phases. The results of the experiment were summarized and the following results were obtained. First, participants in the acquisition phase showed that they gradually improved their performance through transformed self-controled feedback. Second, 70% transformed self-controled feedback was most effective and there was no difference between 30% and 50% transformed self - controled feedback. 10% transformed self-controled feedback was the least effective. These results show that for children with low physical self - efficacy, the 70% condition in the current experimental setting is most effective for children 's taekwondo side - kick learning.
