2022 국어과 교육과정 개정을 앞두고 있다. 2022 교육과정이 고시되면 곧이어 2022교육과정에 따른 교과서 개발이 국어교육학계의 관심사가 될 것이다. 초등학교 국어 교과서는 이번 교육과정에서도 국정으로 개발되기에 일선 교육현장에 미치는 영향력이 클 것으로 보인다. 오랜 기간 초등학교 국어 교과서가 국정으로 개발되었지만 여전히 한계점이나 개선해야 할 점이 많다. 이에 본고에서는 국어 교과서 개발 시 제재 선정의 당위성이 어떠하며 현실적 제약은 무엇인지를 검토하고 국어 교과서 제재 선정의 현실적 방향을 제시하였다. 그 결과 2015 국어 교과서 개발 시 정책 논리 및 적합성 검토 과정에서 국어 교과서 제재 선정의 제약이 상당했고, 그것이 도리어 국어 교과서 제재의 질을 하락시키는 요인이 되었음을 분석하였다. 또한 2015 국어 교과서 제재 선정의 실제적 문제점이 무엇인가를 분석하였다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 국어 교과서 제재 선정 방향을 제안하였다.
Abstract
The Korean language curriculum is about to be revised in 2022. As soon as the 2022 curriculum is announced, the development of textbooks according to the 2022 curriculum will be of interest to the Korean language education academia. Elementary school Korean textbooks are expected to have a great impact on the front-line education field as they will be developed by the government in this curriculum. Although elementary school Korean textbooks have been developed under the government for a long time, there are still many limitations and points to be improved. Therefore, in this paper, what is the justification for the selection of texts for the development of Korean textbooks, what are the practical limitations, and a realistic direction for the selection of texts for Korean textbooks is presented. As a result, it was analyzed that there were considerable restrictions on the selection of Korean textbook texts in the process of reviewing policy logic and suitability when developing Korean textbooks in 2015, and that it was a factor that lowered the quality of Korean textbook texts. In addition, we analyzed the practical problems of the selection of texts for 2015 Korean textbooks. And based on this, a direction for the selection of Korean textbook texts was proposed.
