중국 조선족 인플루언서의 짧은 동영상 담화에 나타난 코드 전환 연구- 틱톡(TikTok) 계정 ‘연변 삼촌(延邊三翠)’사례를 중심으로 -

본 연구는 최근 들어 기하급수적으로 늘고 있는 중국의 짧은 동영상 플랫폼 사용 현상과 관련하여 조선족 출신 인플루언서 ‘연변 삼촌(延邊三翠)’의‘틱톡’ 짧은 동영상에서 확인되는 코드 전환(code-switching) 양상을 살펴보는 데 관심을 두었다. 2020년 7월부터 2021년 12월까지 업로드된 짧은 동영상 가운데 총 30개의 영상을 표본으로 선정하여 영상 내 담화 내용을 텍스트로 전사한 후 코드 전환이 발생하는 언어적 단위 및 기저 언어와 삽입 언어에 따라 코드 전환의 양상 및 특징을 유형화하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 요약하여 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 총 30개의 표본 짧은 동영상을 텍스트로 전사한 후 집계된 691개 문장을 분석한 결과 ‘연변 삼촌’의 사용 언어가 조선어, 중국어, 영어, 일본어의 총 네 가지임이 확인되었다. 둘째, ‘연변 삼촌’에 출현할 수 있는 문장 내의 코드 전환을 12가지로 가정한 후 짧은 동영상의 실제 코드 전환 양상을 조사한 결과 문장 내 코드 전환은 11가지로 나타났다. ‘K[C/J]’, ‘C[E/K]’등과 같이 삽입 언어가 두 가지인 경우도 나타났는데 이는 기존에 이루어진 조선족 코드 전환 연구에서는 확인되지 않았다는 점에서 매우 독특한 현상이라고 할 수 있다. 셋째, 문장 간 코드 전환은 41 가지로 나타났다. 애초의 가설보다 그 종류가 많지는 않지만 ‘Ｋ→Ｃ(Ｋ/Ｊ)’, ‘Ｋ(Ｃ/Ｊ)→Ｃ(Ｋ)’등 새로운 양상이 확인되었다. 문장 간 코드 전환을 다시 크게 세 가지로 분류한 결과 하나의 언어로만 이루어진 문장과 문장 내 코드 전환이 일어난 문장 간의 전환이 제일 활발하게 이루어졌음이 확인되었다.
Abstract
This study focused on analyzing the pattern of code-switching in short clips of the Korean-Chinese TikTok channel ‘Yanbian Sancui(延邊三翠)’, which is very popular in China in relation to the recent exponential use of China's short clip platform. A total of 30 short clips were selected as samples among the short clips uploaded from July 2020 to December 2021, and the contents of the discourse in the short clips were transcribed into text, and the patterns and characteristics of code-switching were analyzed by categorizing them according to the linguistic unit and matrix language and embedded language. The analysis results are summarized and presented as follows. First, as a result of analyzing 691 sentences after transcribed into text based on a total of 30 sample short clips. And then we confirmed that there were four languages: Korean, Chinese, English, and Japanese used in the short clips. Second, assuming 12 types of intra-sentential code-switching that can appear in the short clips, analyze the code-switching aspects of short clips showed that there were 11 types. In some cases, there were two embedded languages such as ‘K[C/J]’ and ‘C[E/K]’, which can be a peculiar phenomenon in that it was not confirmed in the previous Korean-Chinese code-switching study. Third, there were 41 types of inter-sentential code-switching. Although there are no more types than hypothesis, new patterns such as ‘K→C(K/J)’ and ‘K(C/J)→C(K)’ have been confirmed. As a result of classifying the inter-sentential code-switching into three main categories again, it was confirmed that the inter-sentential code-switching was the most active in monolingual sentences and in sentences that intra-sentential code-switching occured.
