산촌지역 유아 안전교육활동의 효과에 관한 연구

본 연구는 안전교육활동이 유아의 안전문제해결사고와 안전지식에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 살펴봄으로써 안전교육활동의 효과를 알아보고자 한 것이다. 전라북도 무주군에 소재한 M 초등학교 병설유치원에 재원중인 만 5세 유아 24명을 대상으로 산촌지역에 적합하고 유치원 교육과정에 적합한 11가지의 내용으로 25가지의 안전교육활동을 구성하여, 13주 동안 매주 2회씩 총 25회 실험처치 하였다. 그 결과, 유아들의 안전교육활동의 경험은 유아의 안전문제해결사고와 안전지식을 향상시키는 데 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The present study was to investigate the effect of safety education activities on young children’s safety problem-solving thinking and safety knowledge. Results of this study were as follows: First, a statistically significant difference was found between pre-and post-test scores on safety problem-solving thinking. Therefore, safety education activities had effect on increasing children’s safety problem-solving thinking. Second, a statistically significant difference was also found between pre-and post-test scores on safety knowledge. Therefore, safety education activities had effect on increasing children’s safety knowledge.
