본 연구는 한국어(KSL) 진단평가 도구의 타당성을 검증하고 이를 바탕으로 효율적인 한국어(KSL) 평가 체계 마련을위한 방안을 고찰하였다. 먼저 Bachman & Palmer(2010)의 시험 과업 특성 틀을 바탕으로 진단평가를 분석한 결과전체적인 외적 타당도는 높은 것으로 나타났으나 세부 요소별로는 개선의 여지가 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 먼저비정기적 평가이므로 운영과 관리가 힘든 특징이 있었고 이를 위해 온라인 방식으로 전환이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 시험 시간과 문항 수의 조절이 필요하였고, 수험자 모국어 양식의 시험지 제공도 고려되어야 할 사안이었다. 그리고 문항 간의 배점 차이가 크고 점수화 방법과 절차가 대체적으로 복잡한 것도 개선해야할 부분이었다. 한편 미국의 CEDLT를 통해 한국어(KSL) 평가 체계 구축을 위한 시사점을 살펴보았는데 우선 평가의 목적이명확히 설정되어야 하고 이에 따라 평가도구가 개발되어야 하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 별도의 평가 틀보다는통합적 평가도구 개발이 효율적이라는 점도 알 수 있었다. 이주배경 학생 대상의 자국어교육에서 평가 영역은 교육과정진입, 이수, 환급 이후 평가 등 여러 층위에서 이루어져야 하는 중요한 영역이다. 본 연구의 결과는 효율적인 평가체계 구축 마련에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The This study examined the validity of the Korean (KSL) diagnostic evaluation tool and examined the ways to develop an efficient Korean language (KSL) evaluation system. First, according to Bachman & Palmer (2010) model, the overall external validity was found to be high, but it was found that there was room for improvement by detailed factors. First, because it was an irregular evaluation, it was difficult to operate and manage. Also, it was necessary to adjust the test time and the number of questions. The difference between the scoring scales of the items was large and the scoring method and procedures were generally complicated. In the meantime, I looked at the implications for constructing KSL evaluation system through US CEDLT. First of all, it was found that the purpose of evaluation should be clearly defined and evaluation tools should be developed accordingly. In addition, it was also found that the development of integrated evaluation tools was more efficient than a separate evaluation framework. In the native language education for students with migration background, the evaluation area is an important area to be established on several levels, such as entry into the curriculum, completion of the curriculum, and evaluation after reimbursement. The results of this study can be effectively used to build an effective evaluation system.
