People have not paid attention to punctuation marks in Chinese education in the form of written language so far. However, Chinese does not have the rule of spacing words so that Chinese punctuation marks are thought to be very important in Chinese education. In order to emphasize the importance of educating the punctuation marks, this study organizes the results based on the investigation on the present conditions of using them by Korean students and conducts error analysis. Furthermore, the study contrasts the common usage of Chinese punctuation marks with that of Korean counterparts and suggests a teaching method for them.
Abstract
