중국어 성어(成語)의 단계적 학습을 위한 기본 어휘 선정 연구

본 연구는 중국어 성어의 단계적 학습을 위해 우선적으로 습득이 필요한 어휘를 선정해 제시하였다. 2021년에 발표된 국제 중문 교육 중문 수준 등급 표준(國際中文教育中文水平等級標准)에는 380개의 성어가 수록되어 있다. 하지만 그 수가 많을 뿐 아니라 단계별 학습을 위한 기준 또한 제시되어 있지 않다. 중국어 성어는 독특한 특성으로 인해 학습이 어려운 항목 중 하나인데, 이와 같은 제시 상황은 향후 관련 교육에 부정적 요소로 작용할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 성어를 구성하는 한자의 등급 분석과 코퍼스 기반 분석을 통해 우선적으로 학습이 필요한 성어 목록을 제시해 보았다. 한자 등급을 제한하여 학습자가 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 성어를 추출하였고, 중국에서 사용 빈도가 높은 성어를 기준으로 어휘를 선정하였다. 본고가 제안한 기본 성어 어휘 목록은 성어 학습의 시발점으로 활용되어 단계적인 중국어 성어 교육 및 학습의 활성화에 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This study presents a selection of vocabulary that should be prioritized for the sequential learning of Chinese idiom. Although the Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education(2021) includes 380 idioms, it lacks a structured framework for step-by-step acquisition. Chinese idioms are one of the most difficult items to learn due to their unique characteristics, and this presentation situation may be a negative factor for future related education. In this study, we propose a list of prioritized Chinese idioms through corpus-based analysis and grading of the Chinese characters that make up idioms. By limiting the grades of Chinese characters, we extracted the vocabulary that is easily accessible to learners, and selected vocabulary based on idioms that are frequently used in China. The basic vocabulary list of idioms proposed in this paper can be used as a starting point for learning idioms, which can help to gradually revitalize the teaching and learning of Chinese idioms.
