단어의 의미는 시간이 가면서 계속 변하고 결합 양식도 다양해져 새로운 의미를 획득하고 있다. 하지만 사전은 변화하는 의미를 모두 반영하고 있지 못한 것이 현실이다. 따라서 언어의 동적 변화를 반영하는 보다 적극적인 표제항의 발견이 필요하다. 이때 표제항은 새롭게 생겨난 신종 단어 외에 확장 어휘 단위를 포함하여야 한다. 이를 위해 본고에서는 언중이 일상적으로 자주 사용하지만 사전에는 없는 구어 확장 어휘 단위 표현을 수집하는 것을 연구 목표로 하되, 형식적으로는 기존의 2어절의 구 단위를 포함하되 1어절의 특수 곡용꼴 또는 활용꼴에 서 문장에 이르는 보다 다양한 확장 형식 어휘를 포괄하였다. 아울러 외국인 학 습자들이 이러한 표현을 정확히 사용할 수 있도록 상세한 용법을 기술하고자 하였다. 이는 문어 중심 기술을 넘어서는 사전을 위한 것으로, 구어라는 새로운 사 용역에 주로 등장하는 의미 단위에 대한 논의를 제기하는 것이다. 이 논문에서는 일반적인 사전에서의 부표제어의 확장뿐 아니라, 구어 표현 사전과 같은 특수한 사전을 편찬하기 위해서 필요한 표제항을 확보하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 이를 찾아내어 실제 사전에서 그 용법을 쉽게 기술하여 외국인 학습자가 구의 의미를 이해하는 데 도움을 주고자 하였다. 먼저 2장에서는 본 연구의 필요성에 대해 논의하고. 기존 사전에서의 부표제어 수록의 관행에 대해 분석하며, 구어 확장 어휘 단위의 누락 원인에 대해 살펴보았다. 3장에서는 최근에 방영된 드라마 두 편을 중심으로 구어 확장 어휘 단위 표현을 수집하면서, 수집의 기준과 수집된 목록의 형식적, 의미·기능적 유형 분류에 대해 논의하였다. 4장에서는 먼저 기존 관용표현 사전의 형식에 대해 비판적으로 검토한 후, 3장의 분류에 따라 일부 확장 어휘 단위 표제어 유형에 대한 원고 모형을 기술하는 방법을 논의하였다. 원고 모형을 보인 유형에는 확장 어휘 제약, 문장 구성체, 속된말이나 통속적 표현, 관례화된 표현 등이 있다.
Abstract
Words vary in combination patterns and change in meaning over time. However, the reality is that dictionaries do not promptly reflect all the changing meanings and usages. Therefore, a more active selection of extended lexcial units is needed to reflect dynamic changes in language. To this end, we focused on daily and frequently used extended lexcial units, which is used in real life but not listed in dictionaries. It includes the existing two-word phrase and more diverse extended lexcial units ranging from one-word particular conjugation to sentences. This research aims at dictionaries compilation beyond written language- oriented and raises discussion on the extended lexcial units that usually appears in spoken language. This paper finds helpful extended lexcial units, not in the general dictionary, but not often used in real life. These expressions are in the intuition of the native speaker, but most of them are unfamiliar to foreign learners. To define the usage of extended lexcial units, we tried to categorize these expressions semantically and functionally and seek a description method for each type. First, Chapter 2 discusses the necessity of this study, analyzes the cause of missing spoken word unit headings in the existing Dictionary. Then, chapter 3 presents the extended lexical units collected from two recently aired dramas, discusses the criteria for collecting them. Furthermore, it inductively discusses semantic and functional type classifications based on the collected lists. Finally, chapter 4 reviews the existing idiomatic dictionary format and presents a method for describing specific manuscript models around types classified in Chapter 3. The types include syntactic phraseology with open structure, pragmatic phraseology used in a specific context, pragmatic phraseology functioned as discourse markers, and semantic phraseology including slang.
