구어 표현 학습 사전의 새 지평 -『외국인을 위한 사전에 없는 진짜 한국어』를 중심으로-

Abstract

This paper analyzes the macrostructure and microstructure of "외국인을 위한 사전에 없는 진짜 한국어(Real Korean for Foreigners, that’s not in the Dictionary)" and examines its characteristics and significance. "Real Korean" contains not only the idiomatic expressions and collocations, but also the specific inflectional forms of a word as headwords, and the dictionary authors call the entry unit of this dictionary as the 'speech extended vocabulary unit'. It is an appropriate method for collecting and containing various colloquial expressions. It is because this dictionary aims to contain various expressions that are frequently used in everyday conversations, but are not in the dictionary. The entries of the dictionary were collected from drama lines through the actual voice utterance of the drama. The dictionary microstructure is largely composed of headword information and commentary information. The headword, expression, similar expression, and utilization information are included in the headword information, and the explanatory information contains meaning, example, explanation, and reference information. In order to show various uses of expression, they do not present definition, usage and example sentences once, but present them in several stages. This dictionary is significant in that it collected a list of colloquial expressions and compiled a dictionary describing lexical information only for colloquial expressions. It can also be seen as an auxiliary textbook for vocabulary teaching and learning. I hope that the dictionary of colloquial expressions will continue to be compiled and revised in the future.
