본 연구는 체계적 문헌고찰을 통해 국내 AI 음악교육 연구의 동향을 분석하고, 이를 바탕 으로 향후 AI 활용 음악교육의 방향성을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 목적을 달성하 기 위해 체계적 문헌고찰 방법론을 적용하였으며, 연구 절차에 따라 최종 선정된 문헌을 8개 의 범주로 분류하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, AI 음악교육의 발전 방향으로 다음과 같은 사항 을 확인할 수 있었다. 첫째, 연구대상의 범위를 확장하여 다양한 학습자의 요구와 교육 환경 을 반영해야 한다. 둘째, 연주 및 감상 교육에서 AI 활용을 강화하여 기존 음악교육의 한계를 보완하고 보다 개인화된 학습 경험을 제공할 수 있다. 셋째, AI 기반 교수 설계 및 교사 교육 을 확대하여 교사들이 AI를 효과적으로 활용하고, 창의적인 교수 방법 및 평가방안을 개발할 수 있도록 지원해야 한다. 넷째, 국악 교육에서도 AI를 활용하여 전통 음악과 현대 기술을 접 목하고, 창작 및 감상 경험을 확장함으로써 교육의 접근성과 지속성을 강화해야 한다. 마지막 으로, AI 활용에 대한 윤리적 고려가 중요하며, 책임감 있게 적용할 수 있는 윤리적 기준을 마련해야 한다는 점이 강조되었다. 본 연구는 AI 활용 음악교육이 기술적 도구 활용을 넘어 학습자 중심의 창의적이고 효과적인 음악 학습환경을 조성하는 데 이바지할 수 있도록 방향 성을 제시했다는 점에서 의의를 지닌다.
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the trends in AI-based music education research through a systematic review and explore the future directions for AI-based music education. To achieve this objective, the study employed a systematic review methodology, classifying and analyzing the selected literature into eight categories based on the research procedure. The analysis identified several key directions for the advancement of AI-based education: First, the scope of research subjects should be broadened to better reflect the diverse needs of learners and educational contexts. Second, the integration of AI in performance and appreciation education should be enhanced to address the limitations of traditional music education and offer more personalized learning experiences. Third, there is a need to expand AI-based instructional design and teacher training programs to support educators in effectively utilizing AI, fostering creative teaching methods, and developing innovative assessment strategies. Fourth, AI should be incorporated into the teaching of traditional Korean music to merge traditional musical heritage with modern technology, thereby improving the accessibility and sustainability of the educational experience through creative expression and appreciation. Finally, the ethical considerations surrounding AI usage are of paramount importance, underscoring the need to establish responsible ethical guidelines for its application. This study is significant in that it proposes a comprehensive direction for AI-based music education, one that goes beyond the mere use of technological tools to foster a learner-centered, creative, and effective music learning environment.
