초등 도덕과 교육과정에서 덕의 본질과 역량의 특성을 반영한 도덕적 기능 재정립 방안

초록

현행 도덕과 교육과정에서 도덕적 기능은 덕과 역량 관련 이론적 기반이 약하고 추상적이어서, 교사와 학생들에게 구체적인 지침을 제공하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 초등 도덕과 교육에서 덕의 본질과 역량의 특성이 잘 반영된 도덕적 기능을 재정립하여, 2022 개정 도덕과 교육과정의 내용체계 정립을 위한 논의의 토대를 마련할 필요가 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 문헌 연구방법을 활용하여 덕과 역량, 그리고 기능에 대한 관련 이론과 선행 연구들을 분석했다. 또한 맥락-지향적이고 반성적 사고를 내재한 덕의 본질과 ‘무엇을 할 수 있는가?’에 대한 물음에 답할 수 있는 역량의 특징이 상호보완적으로 작동하는 도덕적 기능을 재정립할 수 있는 방안을 제시했다.

Abstract

In the current moral and curriculum, moral functions have a weak and abstract theoretical basis related to virtue and competence, so they cannot provide specific guidelines to teachers and students. Therefore, it is necessary to redefine the moral function that reflects the nature of virtue and competence in elementary morality and education, and lay the foundation for discussion to establish the content system of the 2022 revised moral curriculum. To this end, this study analyzed related theories and previous studies on virtue, competence, and function using literature research methods. In addition, a plan was proposed to re-establish and utilize a moral function in which the nature of virtue inherent in context-oriented and reflective thinking and the characteristics of the competence to answer the question of 'what can be done?' work complementarily.
