초록
초등 도덕과는 줄곧 덕목중심의 접근을 취하고 있으나 이는 이론적으로나 실제적으로 많은 난점을 안고 있다. 더 나아가 현행 2015 초등 도덕과 교육과정에는 덕목중심과 도덕적 역량중심의 접근이 혼재되어 있어 교사들이 수업목표를 설정하거나 수행평가를 할 경우 그 대상이나 근거가 모호함으로써 도덕과 교육의 목표, 내용, 방법, 평가의 선순환에 어려움이 따르고 있다. 본 연구에서는 그의 대안으로서 도덕적 역량중심 접근의 특징과 선행연구들을 고찰한 후, 도덕적 역량을 자신에 대한 성찰, 타인들과의 관계, 공동체에 대한 참여, 자연·초월에 대한 외경으로 설정하고 이를 교육내용구성을 위한 영역으로 준용하였다. 각 영역별로 4가지의 구성요소와 그에 따른 기능의 근거를 각각 3가지씩 제시하였다. 이는 모두 도덕적 행동의 숙련에 비중을 두는 접근을 지향한다.
Abstract
Although the moral subject in Korea has been sticking to a moral virtues focused approach since the first curriculum period, it has actually many problems in theoretical and practical aspects. And furthermore, as moral virtues focused approach and moral competency focused approach are mixed each other in 2015 elementary moral education curriculum, many teachers in classrooms have difficulty in determining the instructional objectives and carrying out a performance assessment. This essay at first has inquired the characteries of moral competency focused approach and the advanced researches, and then has proposed four moral competencies and four components per moral competency; the reflection of oneself, the relationship with others, the participation to communities, and the respect for nature and transcendency. In addition, this research has proposed three resources of skills each components. This approach can have advantage over stressing the skill of action.
