本稿는 梁建植이 기술한 批評文과 文學論을 통해 그의 文學觀을 살펴보고, 그의 소설을 서술자와 인물, 결말이라는 세 가지의 틀로 분석하였다.梁建植의 소설과 문학관의 의의를 정리하면 다음과 같다.첫째, 梁建植은 문학, 특히 소설이 독자에게 주는 影響을 분명히 인식하고 있다.둘째, 梁建植은 근대소설의 技法에 관해서도 考察하고 있다.셋째, 그는 자신이 주장한 소설의 技法을 작품 창작을 통해 實驗하고 있다.넷째, 그는 당대 사회의 根本的인 문제를 認識하고 이를 작품에 투영하였으며, 下層民의 삶에 대해 구체적으로 苦悶하고 있다.
Abstract
A Study of the Short Stories of Back-wha Yang Kun-Sik Jo, Hee-jin This paper is truly dedicated for the view of Yang on the literature by use of critics and essays on literature which were written by Yang, and also analyzed his novels by the frame of narrators, characters, ends. The meanings of novels and view of literature of Yang are as follows: 1. Yang surely realized how the literature, especially novel could affect the reader. 2. Yang also contemplated on the form of expression of modern novels. 3. He experimented his own writing skills with the works. 4. He realized the basic social problems, displayed them in his works, and considered the life of the lower classes concretely. In conclusion, Yang Kun-Sik experimented his own-made form of expression of modern novel in his works and represented the social contradictions of the time in his works as well as had an explicit opinion on the literature.
