많은 敎材가 公刊되었음에도 불구하고 그 敎材들에 대한 評價가 실제로 이루어지지 못한 실정에서, 評價 基準을 정하고 이에 따라 Lukoff(1993)에 대한 學習內容을 중심으로 하여 교재 평가를 실시하였다.Lukoff(1993)은 學習內容 分野에서 무난한 外國語 學習 敎材로 評價된다. 體系와 資料의 評價에서는 만족할 만한 수준이고, 몇몇 細部的인 점을 제외하면 文字와 發音의 評價에서도 만족할 만하다. 文法面에서도 특별히 시정하여야 할 점은 발견되지 않는다. 그러나 語彙의 評價에서는 다소 문제가 발견된다. 提示된 語彙의 수가 다소 많고, 基礎 語彙가 아닌 어휘들이 다수 提示되어 있기 때문이다.이러한 評價를 통하여 評價의 方法論을 모색해 보았는데, 이러한 논의는 궁극적으로 더 나은 敎材를 編纂하는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.
Abstract
A Practice of Estimation on Contents of Teaching Materials Suh, Jong-hak Under the actual circumstances that although many teaching materials have come out, the analysis/estimation on them wasn't virtually made, I set up an appraisal standard in Suh(2001) and on that basis I came to estimate Lukoff(1993) mainly on the contents of study in this thesis. As a result, Lukoff(1993) is estimated to be a passable foreign language study book in the aspect of contents of study. It is satisfactory in the estimation of a system and data and so is it in the part of letters and pronunciation except some details. There are rarely something in particular to be corrected in grammar. However, on the side of lexical learning, there are a large number of presented vocabulary, most of which aren't based on the basic vocabulary.
