Abstract
This study aimed to improve the efficient operation of university music liberal arts education by identifying the significance of appreciation activities, emotional intelligence and personality, music interest, learning style, class participation, and satisfaction factors as effective factors in music learn- ing flow and continue among non-music majors. The subjects of the study are 128 male and female undergraduate students participating in a music liberal arts major centered on appreciation activities at University C in Region C, Korea. The results of the study, First, The results of the music learning flow model analysis showed that the empathic personality factor, music interest including emotional and psychological stability and social and moral growth factors, and the exploratory learning style factor were statistically significant for students' music learning flow. Second, the results of the music learning continue model analysis confirmed the significant static effects of the exploratory learning style, class participation factor, instruction and competency cultivation satisfaction factors. Therefore, access to and opportunities to experience the musical arts should be expanded to improve the sat- isfaction of non-majors in music liberal arts learning through interactive interaction and feedback among instructors, learners, and learners. Furthermore, ongoing support is needed, including teaching methods research, collaborative networks, and training to strengthen the professional teaching ca- pacity of instructors to enable the design, development, and implementation of new and innovative music liberal arts education. In addition, mutual management and cooperative support are required, such as expanding linkage programs between universities, related organizations, and communities for the enjoyment of student-centered music communities and artistic activities. I propose to continue research and discussion from various perspectives to improve the teaching methods and practical teaching strategies of music liberal arts through research.
