이 연구는 유추를 활용한 글쓰기 수업이 대학생들의 창의적 사고력 신장에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 필자들은 대학생들의 문제해결능력과 융합적 사고능력, 창의적 사고능력의 함양을 위해 유추를 활용한글쓰기 수업 전략을 개발, 시행한 후 창의적 사고력의 변화를 비교, 분석해 보았다. 유추를 활용한 글쓰기 수업 전략을 개발한 것은 유추가 역사적으로 서로 다른 이질적 영역 간의 융합을 통한 창의적 지식 생산에 기여해 왔으며, 창의적 사고력 및 문제해결능력 신장에 효과적인 데 주목한 것이다. 수업의 효과를 확인하기 위해 수업 전후에 각각 Torrance의 창의적 사고력 검사지인 TTCT를 사용하여 검사를 시행하였다. 검사 결과를 대응표본 T-검정을 통하여 분석한 결과 학생들의 창의적 사고력이 수업 후에 유의미하게 신장된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 창의적 사고력의 하위 범주인 유창성, 융통성, 독창성이 고르게 신장되었으며 (p<.01) 성별에 따른 차이 없이 남녀 모두에게서 창의적 사고력의 신장이 이루어졌음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 이 수업 전략이 창의적 사고력 신장에 효과적이었음을 의미한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of analogy centered writing strategy on creative thinking skills of university students. Analogy centered writing strategy which is intended to cultivate problem solving skills, integrated thinking skills and creative thinking skills is developed and implemented for university entrants to find out the effects of teaching materials on creative thinking skills. We emphasize analogy in the process of creative problem solving because analogy has been known to play an important role in creating new knowledge and improving creative thinking skills. The creative thinking skills is measured by Torrance tests of creative thinking(TTCT). The results of paired T-test indicate that creative thinking skills of the students is improved (p<.01). The sub categories of creative thinking skills(i.e. fluency, flexibility and originality) are also improved(p<.01). In addition, the effects of teaching strategy are the same regardless of gender.
