이 연구는 2022 개정 특수교육 기본 교육과정에 제시된 중･고등학교 체육과 성취기준의 중요도와 실행 가능성을 분석하여 체육과 교육과정의 현장 적용성과 실효성을 검토하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 체육교과 수업을 운영하는 120명의 특수교사를 대상으로 성취기준 28개 문항의 중요도와 실행 가능성을 조사하였으며, 대응표본 t-검정과 IPA 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 중학교 체육과 성취기준은 건강활동 및 표현형 스포츠 영역의 4개 항목이 중요도는 높으나 실행 가능성이 낮은 2사분면에 포함되었으며, 생태형 스포츠 영역의 3개 항목은 중요도와 실행 가능성이 모두 낮은 3사분면에 포함되었다. 특히 건강활동 영역에서는 안전관리, 위생, 응급처치와 관련된 학습 요소가, 표현형 스포츠 영역에서는 신체 움직임을 통한 표현 활동이 상대적으로 실행이 어려운 것으로 나타났다. 고등학교 체육과 성취기준은 생태형 스포츠 영역의 1개 항목이 중요도는 높으나 실행 가능성이 낮은 2사분면에, 건강활동 및 여가활동 영역의 4개 항목이 중요도와 실행 가능성이 모두 낮은 3사분면에 분포하였다. 특히 생태형 스포츠 영역에서는 학생 안전, 교외활동 장소 확보, 프로그램 운영의 현실적 제약이 실행 가능성을 저해하는 주요 요인으로 확인되었다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 체육과 성취기준의 실행 가능성을 높이기 위해 교사 전문성 강화, 학교 간 자원 공유, 체험활동 연계 프로그램 마련 등의 방안을 논의하였으며, 본 연구는 향후 체육과 교육과정의 현장 실행성 제고와 개정 방향 탐색을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the importance and feasibility of achievement standards in physical education under the 2022 Revised Basic Special Education Curriculum for secondary schools. A total of 120 special education teachers who conducted physical education classes participated. A survey instrument based on 28 achievement standards was developed and validated, and the data were analyzed using paired-sample t-tests and Importance–Performance Analysis (IPA). Results showed that four middle school standards in the health activities and expressive sports domains were classified into Quadrant II (high importance, low feasibility), and three standards in the ecological sports domain into Quadrant III (low importance, low feasibility). For high school standards, one was placed in Quadrant II and four in Quadrant III. These findings indicate relatively low feasibility in areas emphasizing theoretical learning or outdoor activities. The study suggests strategies to enhance implementation, including teacher training, inter-school resource sharing, and programs linked to experiential activities, and provides implications for future curriculum development and research.
