초록

본 연구는 학령기 자폐범주성장애 아동의 감각처리특성과 사회적 기술특성(사회적 기술 척도, 문제행동 척도, 학업능력 척도)을 알아보고, 두 특성간의 상관관계를 알아보았다. 연구방법은 감각처리특성을 알아보기 위해 단축감각프로파일(SSP)을 사용하였고, 사회적 기술특성을 알아보기 위해 사회적 기술 평정 척도(SSRS)를 사용하였다. 그 결과, 감각처리특성은 과소반응/특정자극을 찾는 행동, 맛/냄새 민감성, 청각 여과하기 순으로 문제가 있었고, 사회적 기술특성은 사회적 기술 척도 중에서 자기주장이, 문제행동 척도 중에서 과잉행동이 문제가 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 두 특성간의 상관관계에서 과소반응/특정자극을 찾는 행동은 사회적 기술 척도 중 협력과, 청각 여과하기는 사회적 기술 척도 중 협력, 자기주장과 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 움직임 민감성은 문제행동 척도의 총점과 정적 상관관계가 있었고, 과소반응/특정자극을 찾는 행동은 문제행동 척도 중 과잉행동과 부적 상관관계가 있었다. 청각 여과하기는 학업능력 척도의 총점과 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 자폐범주성장애 아동의 사회적 기술의 개선을 위해 사회적 기술 훈련을 적용하는 방법과 함께 신경행동학적 원인과 기초가 되는 감각처리능력의 개선을 위한 중재 근거를 제시할 것이다.

Abstract

This study was designed to find out sensory processing and social skills (social skills scale, problem behaviours scale, academic competence scale) of school-age children with autism spectrum disorder and to investigate the correlation between the two characteristics. Short Sensory Profile(SSP) was used to investigate sensory processing and Social Skills Rating Scale(SSRS) was used to investigate social skills. As a result, sensory processing had problems in the order of Underresponsive/Seeks Sensation, Taste/Smell Sensitivity and Auditory Filtering. And as for social skills, Assertion in social skills scale and Hyperactivity in problem behaviours scale appeared to be the most problematic each. As for the correlation between sensory processing and social skills, there was positive correlation between Underresponsive/Seeks Sensation and Co-operation in social skills scale and between Auditory Filtering and Co-operation, Assertion in social skills scale. There was positive correlation between Movement Sensitivity and the total score of problem behaviours scale. But there was negative correlation between Underresponsive/Seeks Sensation and Hyperactivity in problem behaviours scale. There was positive correlation between Auditory Filtering and the total score of academic competence scale.
