본 연구는 자폐스펙트럼장애 아동과 불안장애로 진단받은 아동의 감각처리 특성의 차이를 알아보기 위한 연구이다. 본 연구는 소아정신과에 내원한 만 3세부터 만 5세까지의 학령전기 아동(ASD = 33명, Anxiety disorder = 44명)을 대상으로 실시하였고, 임상심리학자와 소아 정신과 전문의의 진단을 받는 아동을 대상으로 하였다. 연구 결과, 자폐스펙장애 아동과 불안장애 아동간에 감각 영역 중에서는 다감각처리, 신체자세/ 움직임 조절, 활동 정도 조절 요인에서 유의미한 차이를 보였고, 감각 요인 중에서는 감각추구, 감각등록저하, 감각과민성, 미세동작/ 지각 요인에서 유의미한 차이를 보였 다. 즉 연구 결과 대체로 ASD 아동이 불안장애 아동에 비해 위와 영역에서 감각처리능력에 더욱 어려움이 많은 것을 알 수 있었다. 하지만 감각 민감성 요인에서는 불안장애 아동이 ASD 아동에 비해 더욱 어려움이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 위의 결과들을 바탕으로 하여 본 연구의 의의와 후속 연구를 위한 시사점에 대하여 논의하였다.
Abstract
The study intended The purpose of this study was to compare Autism Spectrum Disorder children and Anxiety disorder children about sensory processing skills. This study conducted preschool children from aged 3 to 5 years(Autism Spectrum Disorder =33, Anxiety disorder = 44). The result was significant differences in multisensory processing, Modulation Related to Body Position and Movement, Modulation of Movement affecting Activity Level of sensory processing between Autism Spectrum Disorder children and Anxiety disorder children. And there were significant differences in Sensory Seeking, poor registration, Sensory sensitivity, Fine Motor & Perceptual of sensory factor between Autism Spectrum Disorder children and Anxiety disorder children. This study showed that Autism Spectrum Disorder children was a lot of sensory processing difficulties than Anxiety disorder children. But anxiety disorder children had more difficulty in sensory sensitivity than ASD children.
