4~6세기 百濟와 倭의 관계-『日本書紀』내 倭의 韓半島 파병과 百濟·倭의 인적교류 기사를 중심으로

Abstract

The objective of this article is to re-establish relationships between Baekje (百濟) and Wa (倭) in the 4~6th century by a study on documents which described the dispatch of ancient Japanese (倭人) troops and the exchanges of personnel which moved to the Japanese archipelago from Baekje written in Ilbonseogi (日本書紀). First of all, as we analyzed documents that described the dispatch of ancient Japanese (倭人) troops in the 4~6th century written in Ilbonseogi (日本書紀), we could understand that Japan backed up military aid to Baekje (百濟) instead of the Japan’s leading role under the battles which was performed by Baekje (百濟). In other words, we could find out that the dispatch of ancient Japanese (倭人) troops written in Jinku-ki (神功紀) and Oojin-ki (應神紀) of Ilbonseogi (日本書紀) as well as written about the 6th century in Ilbonseogi (日本書紀) was support of the Japanese army for Baekje (百濟) during the war between Baekje (百濟) and Koguryo (高句麗) and in the 6th century . Meanwhile, as we analyzed documents on the exchanges of personnel which moved to the Japanese archipelago from Baekje at the same time, we could understand that the royal family and nobles were dispatched continuously to Japan since the end of 4th century and that during Japanese military aids professional intellectuals including doctors and Buddhist monks etc. were dispatched from Baekje. Therefore, we could observe that the relationship between Baekje and Yamato Wa was their cultural exchangesby marriage between the two royal families and that the transmission of advanced civilization from Baekje to Yamato Wa corresponds to support of Japanese military power to Baekje in the 4~6th century. As the above-mentioned study on the Ilbonseogi (日本書紀), we concluded that the relationship between the Korean Peninsula and the Japanese archipelago in 4-6th century was their cultural and military exchanges between Baekje (百濟) and Yamato Wa, and the dispatch of the Japanesearmy to Baekje (百濟) was distorted by the argument such as the Japan’s conquest of the southern Korean peninsula (三韓征伐) written in Jinku-ki(神功紀) of Ilbonseogi (日本書紀) and theory of the southern Korean peninsula ruled by Yamato government.
