연구목적: 본 연구는 학점은행제 실용무용 전공 학생 2인의 실제적인 경험이야기를토대로 대학생활 중 진로 모색 활동 영역에 관한 심층적인 이해를 위한 연구이다. 연구방법: 개인이 살아온 경험을 이야기로 구성하고, 의미를 발견하며. 미래의 방향을재구성해 나가는 과정을 탐구하는 내러티브 탐구방법을 사용하였다. 연구 퍼즐은 첫째, 실용무용전공 대학생들은 학교 교육과 경험을 통해 어떠한 방식으로 진로를 모색하는가? 둘째, 학점은행제 학생으로서의 정체성은 이들의 진로 모색 경험 속에서 어떻게 구성되는가? 이다. 연구결과: 첫째, 참여자들에게 춤은 단순한 기능을 넘어 새로운 삶을 꿈꾸게 하는 계기였다, 둘째, 참여자들은 가족의 반대를 넘어 정서적 지지를획득하는 과정을 통해 진로 선택의 정당성을 확보해 나갔다. 셋째, 실용무용 전공자의진로 형성 과정에서 인맥은 현실적인 조건으로 인식되고 있었다. 넷째, 학점은행제 실용무용전공 학생이라는 정체성은 참여자들에게 혼돈과 긴장을 동반한 경험으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 참여자들은 각자의 방식으로 전문가가 되는 미래를 구체적으로 그려 나가고 있었다. 결론: 본 연구는 소수의 사례를 통해 학점은행제 실용무용전공자의 진로경험을 탐구하였기에 일반화를 목적으로 하지 않는다. 그러나 참여자들의 삶을 관통하여 도출된 경험의 의미는 유사한 맥락에 놓인 다른 실용무용전공 학생, 교육자, 연구자들에게 성찰의 계기와 실천적 통찰을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
Purpose: This study explores the career exploration of two practical dance majors in the Academic Credit Bank System (ACBS) through their lived experiences. Methods: Narrative inquiry is used to transform individual experiences into stories, uncover their meanings, and reshape future directions. The research puzzles explore how practical dance students navigate their careers through education and how their identities within the Academic Credit Bank System are constructed in that process. Research Purpose. Result: Five themes emerged from the narrative inquiry. First, dance transcended mere technical skill, serving as a catalyst for envisioning new life possibilities. Second, participants secured legitimacy in their career choices by overcoming family opposition and obtaining emotional support. Third, personal networks were recognized as practical conditions in career formation. Fourth, participants experienced their identity as Credit Bank System practical dance majors as accompanied by confusion and tension. Fifth, participants were concretely envisioning their futures as professionals through individual pathways. Conclusion: This study does not aim for generalization due to its limited cases. However, the meanings derived from participants' life trajectories may provide reflection opportunities and practical insights to practical dance majors, educators, and researchers in similar contexts.
