이 연구는 청소년 무용교육과 추구하는 목표점이 동일한 대안학교의 실태 조사를 통해 인성교육으로서 청소년 무용교육의 위치를 진단하고자 하였다. 대안학교는 압제적이고 표준화된 근대 교육에 관한 문제들을 해결하려는 교육적 시도이다. 학교는 입시중심의 교육을 위한 장소가 되어서는 안 되며 인성교육과 새로운 학습을 위한 장소가 되어야 한다는 암묵적인 메시지를 내포한다. 이러한 대안학교의 특성과 현황 및 사례를 조사하여 청소년 교육으로서 무용교육의 입지를 파악하고자 하였다. 문헌과 연구자료 및 교육 관련 공시자료를 바탕으로 대안학교의 특성과 교육 편제를 조사하였으며 각 대안학교에서 제시하고 있는 학교소개와 교육헌장으로 학교교육과정 운영 계획과 학교 운영 자료를 조사•분류하였고 소년원학교 무용교육을 분석하여 청소년 무용교육의 의미와 기대효과를 제시하였다. 예술 교육은 현대 사회가 직면한 위기와 다양한 교육 문제에 대한 해결책으로 제시된다. 인간교육의 목적은 전인 교육이며 미래의 주역인 청소년들의 올바른 가치관 형성과 심신의 조화로운 발달을 위해 전인교육으로서의 무용교육에 대한 중요성을 알리고자 하였다. 한 국가가 보유하고 있는 가장 위대한자원은 국민의 상상력 (Creative America) 이라 하듯 제도화된 무용교육은 상상력과 다양성으로 현대사회가 직면한 위기와 교육 문제들에 적절한 대안이 될 것이라는 결론에 도달하였다.
Abstract
Research to Assess the Current Standing Youth Dance Education in Alternative Schools Kim, Min-Ji (Busan Women s College) The purpose of this research is to assess the current standing of the dance education as a system that builds students，character. By diagnosing the current educational environment of the alternative education schools that share the same pedagogical goal with the youth dance education, We can investigate the benefits of integrating these systems. Date was collected though, introductions and educational charters of various alternative schools. And were examined and classified according to administrative planning and disclosure documents. In addition, the dance education of juvenile detention centers was analyzed to envisage potential meanings and expected utilities of youth dance education. Alternative schools has an implicit message that it should not be a place for entrance-centered education but a place for personality education and new learning. The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics, current situation and cases of alternative schools and to grasp the position of youth education as youth education. Based on the reference literature and educational disclosure data, we examined the characteristics and educational organization of alternative schools. It was suggested that the public awareness over the dance education should be enhanced by recognizing the potent benefits. Dance education can supplement the main educational programs as a well-rounded education that nurtures the sound value system and balanced mental and physical development of our young population. The need for improving the inadequate financial resources allocation and extending the availability of dance education through public education programs was also identified. It was concluded that a well-integrated dance education that promotees creativity and variety in its e-pressions, Expressions would be an effec仕ve counter measure to many societal and educational challenges that we are facing in this modern ear.
