This study aims to propose goals and directions for dance education for children and adolescents in the context of socially engaged art. Firstly, the study recommends an educational orientation that connects the body, mind, and intellect through dance to foster harmony and inclusiveness, thereby connecting oneself to others and the world. Secondly, the study proposes providing arts education to children and adolescents who are often marginalized in culture and arts education policy, which can contribute to resolving current and future creativity gaps through dance. Thirdly, the study suggests connecting the educational objectives of dance education with humanistic values such as inclusiveness, which are essential to global citizenship. Overall, this study offers insights into the potential of dance education to enrich the lives of children and adolescents, and to promote social and cultural values.
