This research explored the method of building a Koreanmultilingual parallel corpus and its application for Korean language education. From the perspective of contrastive analysis it is important to use parallel-corpus-data along with bilingual speakersʼ intuition. In the first part of this paper,we focused on the need of a multilingual parallel corpus to provide research data for contrastive analysis between Korean and other languages, especially languages of Russian, Vietnamese, Tai, and Mongolian. We suggested to select those four languages to build a parallel-corpus tagging ellipsis, addition, and contrast for contrast analyses. Therefore, the development of contrastive annotation system enlarges the areas of contrastive analyses between Korean and many other langauges as Korean language educational and research purposes.
