담화 처리에서의 설득 저항 인식 양상 고찰

본고는 담화 처리 과정에서 발생하는 설득 저항의 문제를 다루었다. 설득 저항의 문제가 어떤 식으로 발생하는지를 다양한 말뭉치 자료를 통해 살펴보았다. 특히 설득 저항의 발생 유형과 이유, 그리고 그 수준이 실제 담화 전개 과정에서어떻게 발생하는지를 내성법을 통해 실증적으로 고찰했다. 현재 국어교육 현장에서는 상호교섭 기반의 소통 교육이 중시되고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 언어 산출과 관련된 설득 전략만이 강조되어서는 안 된다. 여기에 수반하여 그러한 설득 전략에 상응하는 설득 저항의 문제를 본격적으로 다룰수 있어야 상호교섭에 기반한 소통 교육을 제대로 수행할 수 있다. 설득 저항은 입말 소통의 다양한 부면에서 그 수준과 형식을 달리하여 발생한다. 따라서 이러한 설득 저항을 다양한 말뭉치를 통해 관찰하고, 이를 교육적으로 환원할 수 있어야 한다. 본고는 이러한 점에서 시론적이나마 입말 담화에서의 설득 저항 문제를 다루었다는 점에서 교육적 의의가 있다.
Abstract
The paper addressed the issue of resistance to persuasion that arises during discourse processing. We examined how resistance to persuasion manifests through various corpus data, particularly investigating its points of origin, reasons, and levels empirically using introspection method. Currently, in the field of korean language education, there is an emphasis on communication education based on mutual interaction. At this juncture, it is not enough to solely emphasize persuasive strategies related to language production. It is crucial to thoroughly address the problem of resistance to persuasion corresponding to such persuasive strategies to effectively conduct communication education based on mutual interaction. Resistance to persuasion occurs at various levels and forms in interpersonal communication. Therefore, it is essential to observe and pedagogically address such resistance to persuasion through diverse corpora. In this regard, the paper holds educational significance in dealing with the issue of resistance to persuasion in discourse pragmatically or theoretically.
