초록

이 연구에서는 국어교육에서의 매체 언어의 수용 양상을 분석하고, 적합한 실현 방안을 모색하였다. 특히 매체 언어의 이해와 표현의 영역 범주 가운데, 매체 언어 수용과 관련한 매체 언어 이해 교육 영역을 중점적으로 다루었다. 매체 언어 이해 교육은 일반적인 듣기나 읽기에서 다루는 담화나 글과 같은 텍스트의 수용 과정과 이해 과정을 본질적으로 반영하고 있다. 이에 속하는 텍스트의 범주는 인쇄 매체뿐 아니라, 음성 매체, 영상 매체, 인터넷 매체 혹은 복합 매체 등 새로운 매체의 범주를 동시에 포함한다. 이러한 특징은 매체 언어 이해 교육과 국어교육에서의 이해 교육과의 뚜렷한 차이를 형성한다. 국어교육에서 매체 언어 이해 교육을 성공적으로 실현하기 위해서는 매체 언어 이해 교육의 본질 및 특성, 이해 교육의 일반성과 매체 언어 교육의 특수성에 대한 균형 잡힌 관점, 매체 언어 이해 과정에 대한 탐색적 노력을 지속하여야 할 것이다.

Abstract

The study aimed to analyze the acceptance phase of media language and to find appropriate realization method in Korean language education. Especially, the present study was focussed on the instructional content and curriculum of Korean language education in terms of media language comprehension. The media language comprehension means reading the media. In other words, it means decoding the media language, then understanding the intend or message of the media. Because the media is new communication tool in today, Korean language education should reflect the new media such as internet, video, simulation, multi-media, even print media and involve ‘what media language is’, ‘how to read media language’, and ‘how to understand the meaning of media’.
