이 논문의 목적은 다종 간 지식의 이념을 제안하면서 그에 연관된 개념적 지도 그리기를 시도하는 것이다. 다종 간 지식은 인간 종과 다른 종의 응답에서 생겨나는 공‑구성적인 앎을 의미한다. 다종 간 지식은 지식의 주체와 대상에 관한 인간중심적 개념에 도전하고, 지식의 방법 및 내용 나아가 윤리 면에서도 새로운 시각과 접근을 요구한다. 즉, (ⅰ) 관계적 주체 (ⅱ) 종 간 앎의 공‑구성 (ⅲ) 앎의 비대칭적 상호성 (ⅳ) 얽힘에서 나오는 응답 윤리를 그 특성으로 한다. 이러한 다종 간 지식의 모색은 인류세에 다종의 공생을 위한 실천적 인식을 도모한다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to propose the concept of multispecies knowledge and attempt to map its associated conceptual landscape. It challenges anthropocentric notions of the subject and object of knowledge, demanding new perspectives and approaches regarding knowledge's methods, content, and ethics. This exploration of multispecies knowledge holds significance in fostering practical awareness for the coexistence of multiple species in the Anthropocene.
