Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to explore ways to activate learners’ question generation in classical reading classes, To this end, the author proposed a learner-centered question generation activation method through a question generation method according to the reading stage that was attempted in an actual classical reading class case, and a ‘joint question generation-joint answer-joint feedback’ structure in individual learning activities and group activities. In order to activate learners’ question generation in large-scale classical reading classes, question generation at each reading stage is important, and it is important to ensure that learners have the opportunity to generate questions in both activities through the interaction between individual activities and group activities, and to receive feedback from the instructor and fellow learners accordingly. In particular, learners can overcome passivity by reading classical texts deeply with an analytical and exploratory attitude and actively participating in the class during the entire process of performing feedback on the instructor’s questions, fellow learners’ questions, and fellow learners’ answers, and generating individual and joint questions.
