이 논문은 반음계주의 읽기 방식을 탐구한다. 반음계주의 읽기는 반음계주의 언어이론을 토대로 한다. 반음계주의 언어이론은 온음계주의 언어이론과 대비된다. 온음계주의 언어이론은 언어 본질에 내재하는 랑그와 같은 상수의 규칙을 통해 언어를 규정한다. 반음계주의 언어학은 언어 화행에 내재하는 변수에 의한 변이와 변주로 언어를 규정한다. 반음계주의 언어학은 이를 통해 한 언어 속에 여러 ‘언어 속 언어’가 내재함을 밝힌다. 또한 언어사용자 개인의 언어 특성인 ‘문체’와 창조적 언어 실행인 ‘말더듬기’의 작용을 규명한다. 이 반음계주의 언어학에서 보면, 읽기는 변이와 변주에 의한 창조적 생성의 활동이다. 읽기는 독자가 상수의 규칙으로 텍스트의 보편적 의미를 찾는 것에 만족하는 활동이 아니다. 변수에 의한 변이와 변주의 의미 생성이나 자기 생성을 실현하는 활동이다. 반음계주의 읽기 방식은 언어 변수에 의한 변격형 읽기를 가능하게 한다. 이는 언어 체계의 이동에 의한 변동형 읽기를 실행하게 한다. 또한 독자가 정형적인 텍스트 이해를 넘어 비정형적인 개인의 문체를 챙기는 텍스트 이해인 개성형 읽기가이루어지게 한다. 더 나아가 이질적 세계를 연결에서 일어나는 말더듬기를 통해 새로운 세계를 창조할 수 있게 한다. 반음계주의 읽기는 상수의 언어 규칙을 토대로 변수의언어작용을 강화함으로써 새로운 세계를 창조하는 창조적 읽기라 할 수 있다.
Abstract
This study explores the chromaticism reading method. The chromaticism reading is based on the chromaticism linguistic theory. The chromaticism linguistic theory is contrasted with the diatonicism linguistic theory. The diatonicism linguistics defines language through the rules of constants such as langue that are inherent in the essence of language. The chromaticism linguistics defines language through variants and variations due to variables inherent in speech acts. Through this, the chromaticism linguistics reveals that multiple ‘languages with in languages’ are inherent in one language. It also informs us of the function of ‘style’, which is the linguistic characteristic of individual language users, and ‘stuttering’, which is a creative language practice. In this chromaticism linguistics, reading is an activity of creative creation through variation and change. Reading is not an activity in which the reader is satisfied with finding the universal meaning of the text through the rules of constants. It is an activity that realizes the meaning creation or self-creation of variants and variations due to variables. The chromaticism reading method enables fluctuational reading through linguistic variables. This allows for variational reading through the movement of the language system. It also allows for individual reading, which is text comprehension that takes into account the non-standard individual style beyond the standard text comprehension. Furthermore, it allows for the creation of a new world through the stuttering that occurs in the connection of heterogeneous worlds. The chromaticism reading can be said to be a creative reading that creates a new world by strengthening the linguistic operations of variables based on the linguistic rules of constants.
