초록

This study aimed to identify core educational components for enhancing the sports nutrition competence of fitness instructors and to suggest improvements to related training and certification systems. A two-round Delphi survey was conducted with 20 multidisciplinary experts. In Round 1, content validity was assessed; in Round 2, the importance and necessity of each item were evaluated using a 5-point Likert scale. Nine core components—including basic nutrient knowledge, dietary control awareness, and the ability to evaluate nutrition information—showed strong consensus, each with a mean above 3.85 and standard deviation below 1.0. These items were drawn from prior literature and expert input, ensuring both educational applicability and field relevance. Experts also emphasized the need for structural improvements in training systems, including practice-oriented instruction, blended formats, modular curricula, competency-based evaluations, institutional accreditation, and recertification mechanisms. These findings provide foundational evidence for designing practical, evidence-based training programs and refining qualification standards for fitness professionals. However, the study has limitations, such as the exclusion of policy-level stakeholders, the absence of a third Delphi round, and a lack of empirical validation. Future research should include pilot applications and engage regulatory bodies to assess feasibility and promote policy integration.
