인제대 사고와 표현 영역 비교과 교육과정－운영과 한계 및 나아갈 길을 중심으로－

인제대학교의 사고와 표현 영역 비교과 교육과정은 기본적으로 교양필수 교과목들인 <언어와 표현> 및 <논리와 사고>를 보조하는 기능을 맡고 있으며, 대학교육역량강화사업을 통해 시행되는 프로그램들과 교비로 시행되는 대회들로 나뉜다. <언어와 표현> 교과목을 보조하는 비교과 교육과정에는 대학교육역량강화사업을 통해 시행되는 ‘글쓰기 클리닉’ 프로그램과 교비로 시행되는 ‘인제 말하기 대회’가 있고, <논리와 사고> 교과목을 보조하는 것에는 대학교육역량강화사업을통해 시행된 ‘독서마일리지 인증제’와 교비로 시행되는 ‘인제 토론대회’가 있다. 이 글의 대부분은 이들 비교과 교육과정이 어떻게 시작되었고 어떻게 운영되고있는지를 개괄적으로 보여주고 있다. 마지막에는 그 한계가 무엇인지 서술하고나서 나아길 길을 간략히 제시하였다.
Abstract
The College of General Education of Inje University offers ‘Thinkingand Expression’ which consist of ‘Speech and Expression’ and ‘LogicalThinking’, and four non-credit programs are designed to complementthe courses of ‘Thinking and Expression’. These programs include twosub-programs supported by government’s financial aid and two contestsfunded by the university. The programs for ‘Speech and Expression’consists of a sub-program, ‘Writing Clinic’ and a contest, ‘Inje SpeechContest’. The programs for ‘Logical Thinking’ is composed of a subprogram,‘Reading Mileage Certification’ and a contest, ‘Inje DebateContest’. This paper is mainly concerned with how the programswork actually. And final part of the paper examine the limitations ofproblems of the programs, which may contribute to the improvementof the programs.
