대학의 교양국어 관련 교과 및 비교과 프로그램 운영과 개선 방안 연구—비대면 토론대회를 중심으로—

이 연구에서는 M대학의 교양국어 관련 교과 및 비교과 프로그램의 운영을 살피고, 비교과 프로그램 중 ‘비대면 토론대회’를 중심으로 비대면 교육의 성과를 3가지로 나누어 살펴보았다. 첫째, 교양국어 관련 교과에는 ‘생각하고 표현하는 말하기’, ‘생각하고 표현하는 글쓰기’ 과목이 있으며, ‘교양 마이크로디그리’를 운영하고 있다. 교양국어 관련 ‘교양 마이크로디그리’에는 ‘국어능력인증과정’과 ‘커뮤니케이션 마스터코스과정’이 운영되고 있으며, ‘교양학사’를 취득하게 된다. 둘째, 교양국어 관련 비교과 프로그램에는 ‘말하기 클리닉’, ‘스톡스 토론대회’, ‘글쓰기클리닉’, ‘스톡스 백일장’이 마련되어 있다. 셋째, 비대면 토론대회는 코로나19로 2020년∼2021년 두 대회에서 진행되었다. 특히 비대면(예선, 본선)과 대면(결선)이 결합된 형태로 열리게 되었다. Microsoft Teams를 기반으로 사회적인 이슈를 중심으로 재난지원금 지급, 온라인 학습의 유용성이 토론 주제로 다루어졌다. 토론대회에는 재학생들의 참여도와 토론대회 경험자가 참가하는 특징을 보이고 있다. 이전 토론대회에서 잘못된 자신의 말하기 방식 및 태도, 발성 등 형식적인 면을 교정하고, 자료 준비, 자료의 종합적 이해 및 찬반 자료의 숙지 등을 통해 자신들의 성장을 스스로이끌기도 하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to examine the operation of liberal arts-related subjects and non-examination programs at M University. The purpose of this study was to examine the outcomes of non-face-to-face education, focusing on the ‘non-face-to-face discussion contest’ among the non-curricular programs. Liberal Korean language-related subjects include ‘thinking and expressing Speaking’ and ‘thinking and expressing Writing’ and Liberal Arts Microdegree is running. There is a ‘Korean Language Proficiency Certification Course’ in the ‘Liberal Arts Microdegree’ related to the liberal arts and Communication Master Course’ is in operation and You will receive a ‘Bachelor of Arts’. ‘Speech Clinic’, ‘Stokes Discussion Contest’, ‘Writing Clinic’, and ‘Stokes Writing Congtest’ are prepared for the liberal arts-related non-curricular programs. The non-face-to-face discussion contest was held in two contests from 2020 to 2021 due to COVID-19. In particular, non-face-to-face (preliminaries, finals) and face-to-face (finals) were combined. Based on Microsoft Teams, the issue of disaster relief payment and the usefulness of online learning were discussed with a focus on social issues. Debate Contest is characterized by the participation of current students and the participation of experienced debating contestants. They also led their own growth by correcting formal aspects such as their speaking style, speaking attitude, and vocalization, preparing materials, comprehensive understanding of materials, and familiarity with pros and cons.
