Abstract
The metaphor model is characterized by emotional learning, and learning as meaning construction, learning activity using metaphor material. The results of a field application research are as follows. First, the learners associate ‘comfort’ with the feeling of freedom. Second, a change came in understanding the meaning of freedom in relation with respect for others and equal freedom. Third, the learners respond to a metaphor model that enables them to experience interesting, cretivity, vocabulary and discussion. Fourth, the teacher identifies a metaphor model that enables one to recognize ‘the importance of emotional learning’. Also, the metaphor model encourages learners to participate with interest, and to interact with an open mind, to construct a meaning. Further analysis of the metaphor model may gratify field suitability and learning possibilities.
