20세기 포스트모더니즘 시기의 철학자들은 이전의 이성 중심의 세계관에서 탈피하여 다양한 주체와 주변부의 목소리에도 관심을 갖게 된다. 이러한 사조는 질 들뢰즈의 철학 사상에도 영향을 준다. 본 논문에서는 포스트모더니즘 학자인 들뢰즈의 철학 개념들을 살펴보고 기록학 및 공공역사와의 연관성을 분석한다. 공공역사의 예시로는 장성탄광 관련 ‘구술 기록’을 제시하였다. 공공역사에서 들뢰즈의 철학 개념들이 구술 기록에 어떤 시사점을 제공하는지 분석하였다. 들뢰즈의 ‘리좀’, ‘되기’, ‘다양체’ 개념은 모두 공공역사를 다양한 측면에서 접근하는 이론적 토대가 된다. 또한 공공역사의 실천 방향을 고민하는 데도 용이하다.
Abstract
Philosophers in the postmodernist era of the 20th century became interested in a variety of topics and voices around them, breaking away from the existing reason-centered world view. This trend also affects Gilles Deleuze’s philosophical ideas. In this paper, we examine the philosophical concepts of Deleuze, a postmodernist scholar, and analyze the relationship between records and public history. As an example of public history, I would like to present oral records related to the Jangseong coal mine. The purpose of this study is to analyze what implications Deleuze's philosophical concepts provide for oral records in public history. Deleuze’s concepts of ‘Rhizome’, ‘Becoming’, and ‘Multiplicity’ all serve as the theoretical basis for approaching public history from various aspects. It is also easy to consider the direction of public history.
