본 연구는 2024년 12월 3일 비상계엄 이후의 반탄핵 운동이 물리적 광장과 소셜미디어 플랫폼에서 구성하는 정치적 기회구조의 차이를 프레임 정렬을 중심으로 분석하였다. 동일한반탄핵 유튜브 채널의 집회 영상(132개)과 스튜디오 영상(130개)을 구조화토픽모델(STM) 로 비교한 결과, 현장 집회 공간은 종교-애국주의, 반공 및 극우적 코드를 내포한 담론 중심의 의례화를 통해 정동적 결속과 집합 정체성 형성에 집중하는 양상이 나타나지만, 스튜디오 공간은 신속한 의제 전환과 의제에 대한 정당화를 통한 이슈 증폭에 집중하는 양상이 주로 나타난다. 주된 프레임 정렬 전략은 집회에서 증폭과 연결로, 스튜디오에서 확장과 변형으로 분화되었으며, 윤석열 전 대통령 체포와 같은 결정적 국면에서는 두 공간이 다루는 주제가 수렴하는 모습을 보였다. 이는 반탄핵 운동이 뉴미디어 플랫폼의 기술적 어포던스를활용하여 공간적 분업을 통한 이슈별 정치적 기회구조를 형성하고 있음을 의미한다.
Abstract
This study examines the differential construction of political opportunity structures in physical public squares and social media platforms by the anti-impeachment movement following the declaration of martial law on December 3, 2024, focusing on frame alignment. A comparative analysis using structural topic modeling (STM) of rally videos (132) and studio videos (130) from the same YouTube channel reveals that rally spaces specialized in affective bonding and collective identity formation through the ritualization of religious-patriotic discourse, while studio spaces specialized in issue amplification through rapid agenda shifts and justification. Frame alignment strategies diverged into amplification and connection at rallies, and extension and transformation in studios, with a convergence pattern emerging between the two spaces during decisive moments such as the arrest of former President Yoon. These findings demonstrate that radical right-wing social movements leverage the technological affordances of new media platforms to form issue-specific political opportunity structures through spatial division of labor. This study raises the possibility that Korean social movements sharing far-right codes may expand from issue-specific mobilization to generalized political opportunity structures while strategically exploiting hybrid movement spaces.
