미메시스(mimesis) 미학'에서 본 무용예술

Abstract

From Aristoteles, since the Greek classical period, traditional clear proposition in western art of 'art imitate nature' is forming the foundation to be the ideologically and theoretically, which integrates all the arts with before bear the concept of fine-arts(beaux-arts) of the modern age as the guiding idea of mimesis that art jumps the copying of the phenomenon which is the surface area over and it is expression within human inside world. For dance in the appearance of an initial time to modern age, mimesis as ideology of the art have a great effect on self-identity establishment that dance is not reproduction of an external reality but expression of an internal reality. Therefore this paper research on the meaning of the 'aesthetics on mimesis' in West art, further I will research section of the 'aesthetics on mimesis' in the dancing. As a result, about dance through a concept of mimesis, We can lead the conclusion following. First, the concept of mimesis does not have simple meaning which is the reproduction of the thing. We find meaning of the expression on human idea or feeling and passion in an initial concept of mimesis. And this mimetic moment in ancient Greek dance is appear 'choreia' to the meaning of expression within human inside world. Moreover, dance has self-identity still in a discussion of the mimesis where concept of fine-arts appear at eighteenth century. But, after forming the concept of fine-arts, because the change of ideology in the arts as an expression of human inside world entirely different from the representation of an external world, also dance have been interpreted by new contemporary aesthetic concept which is the expression. Though, the mimesis as the ideology of art is still valid concept in understanding the contemporary dance.
