The purpose of this paper is a study on the tragic effect of the audience in dance performance centered on Aristotle's tragedy. Dance satisfies the condition that Aristotle's tragedy is the mimes of action, and the purpose of the tragedy is to carry out the catharsis of feelings about the work. The experience of catharsis in dance allows the audience to elicit their emotions while maintaining their appreciation and to maintain their bal anced emotional state (catharsis). 1. The principle of dance movement for the best tragic condition of the audience in dance follows the rules of cau sality, probability and universality. 2. The composition of dance move ments in dance and their imitations of behavior follow the Aristotle's tragedy, following inertia, plausibility and universality, and experiencing catharsis, the best of emotional effects. 3. Aristotle's tragedy confirms the artistic nature of dance as a performing art.
