본 연구의 목적은 태권도 선수들의 경쟁과정 중 윤리준수에 관한 이론적인 모델을 도출하는데 있다. 본 연구의 참여자는 2004년도 태권도 국가대표 선발전에 참여한 우수선수들을 중심으로 하였다. 본 연구는 질적 연구방법 중의 하나인 근거이론을 사용하여 연구 참여자들의 윤리준수에 관한 경험을 이해하기 위해 범주의 분류를 미리 결정하기 보다는 귀납적으로 주제를 발전시켰다.본 연구에서 발견한 경쟁과정 중 윤리준수에 관한 분석과정의 틀은 아래와 같이 4단계의 윤리 순환과정으로 나타났다. 첫째, 환경적 요구로서 규칙을 준수하고, 도덕적 표준을 가지는 평상심을 의미하며 둘째, 환경적 요구의 개인적 지각으로써 보이지 않는 반칙행위에서 오는 갈등 상황의 봉착이며 셋째, 환경적 요구에 대한 반응으로서 반칙을 하게 되는 갈등의 심화단계이며 마지막으로 행동의 통합화로서 도덕적 표준으로의 환원을 나타냈다.
Abstract
This study was to present positive information to understand․cope their experience by developing theoretical model on ethic observance of Taekwondo players in competition situation through grounded theory. Participants in this studies were composed of excellent players who participated in national representative selection tournament. Chosen to clarify participant's understandings of their experience, firstly the methods used involved developing codes, categories, and themes inductively rather than imposing predetermined classifications on the data(Glasser, 1978), secondly generating working hypotheses or assertions(Erickson, 1986) from data, lastly analyzing narratives of participants' ethics observance in competition situation. The studies indicated cycle process of ethic which first stage was environmental demands, second stage was individual perception on environmental demands, third stage was response on environmental demands, and last stage was behavior result, moral standard.
