Abstract

This study attempts to explore the context-specific behavioral determinants of employees' fairness perceptions in the South Korean governmental agencies. Using sequential mixed methods design consisting of a preceding qualitative phase (in-depth interviews and qualitative coding, n=32) and a following quantitative phase (ordered logit model, valid n=240), an array of nascent factors, such as 'workload visibility', were explored and validated. Based on the findings, the author further addressed theoretical and practical implications.
