코로나 19는 2019년 말 처음 발견된 이후 전 세계로 빠르게 확산 되었으며, 우리의 일상생활에 매우 많은 변화를 가져왔다. 전염병 특성상 사람이 모이면 전염병이 확산할 수 있기 때문에 2020년 3월 신입생 입학이 시작되고 개학이 시작되어야 하나 개학이 불가능한 상황에 놓이게 되면서 교육환경에도 변화가 나타나게 되었었다. 교수와 학생은 온라인 강의에 대한 준비 없이 LMS, ZOOM 등 다양한 형태의 방법을 통한 온라인 강의를 시작하게 되었다. 이에 본 연구는 코로나 19로 인해 급격하게 변화된 온라인 대학 교육형태에 대한 학생들의 인식을 살펴보고, 온라인 강의와 오프라인 강의에 대한 인식을 비교함으로써 추후 교육형태에 대한 계획 수립에 도움이 되고자 진행되었다. 본 연구는 인천지역 등 경인지역 대학교에 재학 중인 20세 이상 대학교에 재학중인 대학생을 대상으로 진행되었고, 네이버 폼 서식을 이용하여 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 최종 연구대상자는 362명이며, 온라인 강의와 오프라인 강의서비스에 대한 서비스 가치, 서비스 만족, 재수강 의도 및 강의 추천의도와 온라인 교육형태에 대한 전반적인 만족도, 학습내용의 이해, 온라인 수업 진행방식 만족도, 수강과목에 대한 지식 습득에 대한 만족도 등을 확인하기 위해 빈도분석과 T-test를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 교육 서비스에 대한 학생들의 인식은 전반적으로 온라인 강의보다 오프라인 강의에 대해 긍정적 인식이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 오프라인 강의가 온라인 강의에 비해 비용 대비 강의 효과와 수강과목에 대한 지식 습득이 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났으나 재수강의도와 강의 추천의도는 온라인 강의가 높은 것으로 나타나 학생들은 오프라인 강의가 비용대비 강의 효과 및 강의 만족도, 지식습득을 위해 좋은 것을 알고 있지만 편리성 때문에 재수강이나 강의 추천은 온라인 강의 방식을 선호하는 것을 보여주었다. 그리고 오프라인 수업에 비해 온라인 강의에서 교양-전공-실험·실습 순서대로 만족도가 낮게 나타났다. 이는 전공을 위한 전문 지식 전달을 위해 교수자들의 온라인 강의 설계전략 수립 및 성공적인 설계를 위한 대학의 지원이 필요함을 보여주는 것이며, 실험·실습 과목은 온라인 수업의 한계를 보여주고 있다고 하겠다. 이는 포스트 코로나 및 위드 코로나 시대를 대비한 대학의 새로운 교육 방식에 대한 연구가 필요함을 시사한다. 이러한 노력들이 대학 교육서비스의 질적 향상에 도움이 될 것이다.
Abstract
Since COVID-19 was first detected at the end of 2019, it has spread rapidly around the world, and has brought about many changes in our daily lives. Due to the nature of the epidemic, the contagious disease can spread when people gather, so the educational environment has also changed as new students must start entering school in March 2020, but school is impossible to start. Professors and students started online lectures through various types of methods such as LMS and ZOOM without preparing for online lectures. Therefore, this study was conducted to help plan for future education types by examining students' perceptions of the online university education form that has changed rapidly due to COVID-19 and comparing the perceptions of online and offline lectures. This study was conducted for university students who are 20 years old or older who are currently enrolled in universities in Gyeongin area, including the Incheon area. An online survey was conducted using Naver form. The final study subjects were 362 people. Frequency analysis and T-test were conducted to confirm service value, service satisfaction, re-lecture intention and lecture recommendation intention, overall satisfaction with online education type, understanding of learning content, online class progress, and satisfaction with acquiring knowledge of courses. As a result of the study, students' perceptions of educational services were found to have higher positive perceptions of offline lectures than online lectures in general. In addition, offline lectures were found to have significantly higher cost-effectiveness and knowledge acquisition of courses than online lectures. However, it was found that online lectures were high in re-lecture and lecture recommendation intention. This means that students know that offline lectures are good for cost-effectiveness, lecture satisfaction, and knowledge acquisition, but because of their convenience, they prefer online lectures for re-taking or lecture recommendations. In addition, compared to offline classes, online lectures showed lower satisfaction in the order of liberal arts-major-experimentation and practice. This shows that professors need support from universities for establishing online lecture design strategies and successful design in order to deliver professional knowledge for their majors. Furthermore, experimental and practical subjects show the limitations of online classes. This suggests that research on a new educational method of universities is necessary to prepare for the post-corona and with-corona era. These efforts will help improve the quality of university education services.
