초록

This study investigates research trends related to ADHD, physical activity, and preschool-aged children using keyword network analysis and Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic modeling. Relevant literature from 2000 to 2024 was collected from major databases, including PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and MEDLINE, using the keywords “ADHD,” “preschooler,” and “physical activity.” Findings show that while early research output was minimal, publication frequency has significantly increased since 2020. Keyword analysis revealed strong connections between ADHD and themes such as physical activity, motor skills, health, and behavioral problems. High-frequency terms included “physical activity” and “motor skills.” LDA topic modeling extracted five primary research themes: (1) Caregiver-participatory intervention programs, including keywords such as Incredible Years Series, (2) Therapeutic and psychomotor-based interventions, (3) Motor skill development in preschool children with ADHD, (4) Preventive approaches in early childhood, (5) Cognitive-based interventions, particularly focusing on working memory and executive function. These findings demonstrate a rapid expansion of research interest in physical activity for preschoolers with ADHD in recent years. In particular, they highlight a growing emphasis on early intervention, prevention, and integrated approaches that promote both cognitive and physical health. The results underscore the importance of continued multidisciplinary research efforts to support the holistic development of young children with ADHD.
