본 연구는 협업⋅소통 능력 진작을 위해 자주 활용되고 있는 팀기반 협력학습이 전통 인문학 강좌인 고전읽기에서도 긍정적 효과로 이어질 수 있는지 살펴보고자 하였으며, 구체적으로는 팀기반학습(TBL)을 적용한 ｢자연과기술명작세미나｣ 수업에서 다양한 학문적 배경을 가진 학생들의 자기주도학습태도가 협력학습경험을 매개로 수업만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 2024학년도 2 학기 수강생 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 구조방정식 모형(SEM)을 활용하여변인 간 구조적 관계를 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 대학생의 자기주도학습태도는 협력학습경험에 긍정적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 협력학습경험은 수업만족도를 향상시키는 데 중요한 매개 역할을 수행하는 것으로확인되었다. 이는 자기주도적으로 학습에 임하는 태도가 학습자 간의 능동적인상호작용과 협력적 참여를 촉진하고, 그 결과 전반적인 수업만족도를 높이는 데기여함을 의미한다. 본 연구 결과는 학습자의 능동적인 참여를 유도할 수 있는 수업 설계의 필요성을 강조하며, 향후 교양교육에서의 교수⋅학습 방법 개선에 실질적인 시사점을 제공한다.
Abstract
This study explores whether team-based learning (TBL), which has been widely utilized to foster collaboration and communication skills, can also yield positive effects in traditional humanities courses such as classics reading seminars. Specifically, the research analyzes how students’ self-directed learning attitudes, shaped by their diverse academic backgrounds, influence their course satisfaction through the mediating role of collaborative learning experiences in the “Nature and Technology Masterpiece Seminar” class that applied Team-Based Learning(TBL). To this end, a survey was conducted on students enrolled in the second semester of the 2024 school year, and the relationships between variables were verified using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results of the study showed that students’ self-directed learning attitudes had a significant positive effect on their cooperative learning experiences, and that these cooperative learning experiences played an important mediating role in improving class satisfaction. This means that the attitude of self-directed learning promotes active interaction and cooperative participation among learners, which in turn contributes to increasing overall class satisfaction. This study emphasizes the necessity of class design that can induce learners' active participation, and provides practical implications for improving teaching and learning methods in liberal arts education in the future.
