연구 목적: 본 연구는 특수교육대상자가 졸업 후, 장애인 평생교육기관으로 전환과 직업교육의 효율적인 연계가 이루어지도록 관련 업무를 담당하는 특수교사의 인식을 분석하였다. 연구 방법: 이를 위해, 경상권의 진학반과 전공과의 경력이 있는 특수교사를 대상으로 장애인 평생교육에서 현재 전환(직업)교육의 문제점과 해결 방안을 알아보고자 심층 면접을 진행하였다. 연구 결과: 그 결과, 분석 결과 3개의 범주와 8개의 상위 주제 그리고 19개의 하위 주제로 분류되었다. 범주는 첫째, 특수교사가 생각하는 장애인 평생교육, 둘째, 전환교육에서 요구하는 장애인 평생교육, 셋째, 효율적인 전환교육의 연계를 위한 제안으로 분류되었다. 상위 주제로는 1) 장애인 평생교육에 대한 정보 2) 졸업생의 다음 단계 3) 장애인 평생교육의 모호성 4) 구조화된 프로그램 5) 지역의 편차 6) 기관에 대한 신뢰도와 형평성 7) 개인에 맞는 전환 및 사회화 프로그램 8) 그 외의 효과적인 연계를 위한 제안으로 분석되었다. 결론: 이를 바탕으로 3개의 범주에 대하여 향후 특수교육에서 장애인 평생교육으로의 효율적인 전환교육이 이루어지는 방안에 대해 논의하였다.
Abstract
Purpose: This study was conducted to link efficient transition and vocational education from special education to lifelong education of the disabled after graduation. Method: For this purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted with special education teachers with experience in graduating classes and majors in the Gyeongsang district to find out the problems and solutions of the current transition (vocational) education in life long education for the disabled. Results: the analysis results were classified into three categories, eight high-level topics, and 19 low-level topics. The three categories were: 1) lifelong education for individuals with disabilities as seen by special education teachers, 2) lifelong education for individuals with disabilities required in transition education, And 3) Proposals for linking efficient transition education. The high level topic were 1) Information on lifelong education for individuals with disabilities 2) Next steps for graduating students 3) Ambiguity in lifelong education for individuals with disabilities 4) structured programs 5) Variations by region 6) Trust and equity in institutions 7) Individualized transition and socialization programs 8) Suggestions for other effective connections. Conclusion: Based on these findings, this study discussed ways to provide efficient transition education from special education to lifelong education for future application for individuals with disabilities, focusing on the three categories.
