유아교육에서의 기록 관련 연구 동향 분석:국내 학술지 및 학위논문 중심으로

본 연구는 2024년까지 국내에서 수행된 유아교육에서의 기록 관련 연구 동향을 분석하여 유아교육분야 연구 발전을 위한 시사점을 도출하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 학술지 논문 49편, 학위논문 24편, 총 73편의 논문을 대상으로 발행 연도, 연구대상, 연구방법, 연구 내용(기록 매체, 연구주제)별 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 유아교육에서의 기록 관련 연구는 1999년에 나타나기 시작하였고 2019년-2024년 시기에 급격한 양적 증가가 나타났다. 둘째, 연구 대상 및 기록 주체별 동향을 살펴본 결과 교사를 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많이 나타났다. 셋째, 연구 방법은 관찰 및 사례, 면담을 활용한 질적 연구 위주로 연구가 수행된 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 연구 내용 중 기록 매체는 녹음이 가장 많이 나타났으며, 연구 주제는 기록에 대한 교사의 경험 및 변화, 교사 공동체, 교수지원 및 전문성 등 교사 관련 연구가 가장 많이 이루어진 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 유아교육에서의 기록 관련 연구에 적용가능한 시사점을 제공하는 동시에 앞으로 나아갈 방향을 모색할 수 있는 계기가 되리라 기대한다.
Abstract
This study analyzes research trends related to documentation in the field of early childhood education conducted in Republic of Korea up to 2024, with the aim of deriving implications for the advancement of research in this area. A total of 73 studies, comprising 49 journal articles and 24 theses, were analyzed for publication year, research subjects, methodologies, and content, with frequencies and percentages calculated for each category. The findings are as follows: First, research on documentation in early childhood education emerged in 1999 and showed a significant quantitative increase, particularly from 2022 onwards. Second, an examination of trends by research subjects and documentation agents revealed that studies focusing on teachers were the most prevalent. Third, qualitative methodologies dominated the research methods employed in this field. Fourth, among documentation media, audio recordings were most frequently utilized, followed by video recordings, play documentation, journals, photographs, field notes, portfolios, and logs. Lastly, an analysis of research topics indicated that teacher-related studies were the most common. Based on these findings, the study presents actionable implications for the application and development of research on documentation in early childhood education.
