Abstract
According to the World Health Organization, the death rate from non-prescription drugs reaches 1 million a year, and the number of cases of life-threatening drugs is increasing every year. In particular, as the population ages, the use of medicines has increased further, and this problem is not just a problem in the pharmaceutical industry, but a social problem directly related to human health. In response, this research aims to present the direction of future medicines by analyzing IoT-based drug design over the past five years, providing necessary information to patients and analyzing brand experience and IoT technologies that lead voluntary participation. According to the analysis, the brand experience of IoT-based pharmaceutical design has many experiences in establishing relationships through medicines such as sensory experiences that patients can intuitively participate in medicines, cognitive experiences that follow prescriptions and accurately induce medication information, behavioral experiences that allow patients to monitor patients and communicate with doctors or guardians, and monitoring and tracking counterfeit products linked to society. The applied Internet of Things technology is NFC technology for patients located in the distance of medicines, and for doctors and guardians who need to communicate at long distances, 5G and WIFI technology, APP for mobile devices that can be carried at all times by means of interaction, and QR Code, which is popular and simple to use considering the age of users. This study expects that pharmaceutical design will protect brands and build trust through IoT-based user experience, and further contribute to solving problems in the pharmaceutical industry that may occur in the future.
