산출지향 접근법(POA)에 기반한 한국어 수업 사례 연구

본 연구는 중국 대학의 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 산출지향 접근법에 기반한 수업을 진행하고 그 수업 효과를 살피는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 산출지향 접근법의 이론에 대해 알아보고 이에 기반한 한국어 수업을 설계하여 진행한 후 학습자들을 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 산출지향 접근법에 기반한 한국어 수업은 주로 동기부여, 활성화, 평가 단계에 따라 구체적인 활동을 구성하였다. 수업에 대한 인터뷰 결과를 통해 학습자들은 새로 배울 내용에 대한 이해도와 흥미도가 높아졌고 보다 능동적으로 수업 활동에 참여하였으며 언어 산출 능력과 더불어 사고 능력과 동료 협력 능력도 향상되었음을 확인하였다. 반면 산출지향 접근법을 실제 수업에 적용할 경우 수업 시수의 부족, 학습자 언어능력의 부족으로 주어진 시간 내에 다양한 활성화 활동을 마무리하기 어려울 것이라는 우려도 나타나고 있었다. 본 연구는 향후 POA에 기반한 한국어 교육에 기초 자료를 제공할 수 있다는 데에 그 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study has its purpose in proceeding the class for the Korean learners enlisted at universities in China, based on the production-oriented approach, and in understanding its effect. For the purpose, this study researches the related theories on the production-oriented approach, design and proceed the Korean class based on the approach, and undergoes in-depth interviews for the learners. Korean classes based on the production-oriented approach are mainly comprised by detailed activities, in accordance with motivating, enabling and assessing phases. Via the interview result from the classes, the learners showed higher understanding and interest in new learning contents, more actively participated to the class activities, and also showed enhanced cognitive and cooperative capabilities as well as language production. On the other hand if the production-oriented approach is applied to the actual classes, there are concerns that a variety of enabling activities will not be completed due to lack of the number of classes, and lack of language abilities of the learners. The significance of this research is that it can provide basic materials for future Korean language education based on POA.
